Description

The MicroScribe X 3-D digitizer plug-in for Rhino 4.0 will allow you to interface with the Immersion's new MicroScribe X portable CMM. For more information on the MicroScribe X portable CMM, visit the Immersion web site.

Critical: Download and install the latest Microsoft runtime libraries before using this plug-in.

Installation

1. Download the MicroScribe X 3-D digitizer plug-in.
2. Copy all of the files from the downloaded, zipped file into your \Program Files\Rhinoceros 4.0\Plug-ins folder.
3. Start Rhino.
4. Run the PlugInManager command and press the Install... button. Browse to your \Program Files\Rhinoceros 4.0\Plug-ins directory and select the digitize_MicroScribeX.rhp plug-in.

Usage

1. Make sure the MUS-X.EXE application, included in the MicroScribe X software installation, is already running.
2. Start Rhino.
3. Run the Digitize command and select the MicroScribe X Digitizer.
